Terms of Use

Effective September 9, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of https://creatorscoalitionai.com (the “Site”), including the terms, definitions, research, methodologies, analyses, findings, conclusions, publications, data, graphics, taxonomies, classification systems, scoring rubrics, weighting schemes, impact scales and other materials made available through the Site (collectively, the “Materials”).

The Site is operated by the Creators Coalition on AI (“CCAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Site or its Materials.

1Ownership

The Site and Materials are owned by or licensed to CCAI and are protected by copyright, trademark, contract, and other applicable laws. This includes, to the extent protectable, the original language, research, commentary, analysis, selection, coordination, organization, presentation, and compilation of the Materials.

CCAI retains all rights not expressly granted under these Terms. Making the Materials publicly accessible does not place them in the public domain or grant any ownership interest in them.

The CCAI name, logo, marks, and other identifiers may not be used without CCAI's prior written permission. No use of the Materials may state or imply CCAI's sponsorship, endorsement, approval, affiliation, or certification unless CCAI has expressly authorized that representation in writing.

2Limited Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, CCAI grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, nonsublicensable, and revocable license to access and use the Site and Materials for personal, educational, scholarly, or journalistic purposes.

You may quote limited portions of the Materials when reasonably necessary for commentary, scholarship, reporting, or discussion, provided that you:

  • Accurately reproduce the quoted language;
  • Clearly attribute the material to CCAI;
  • Identify the title and publication date or version, where available;
  • Include a link to the original CCAI publication or webpage;
  • Do not alter the meaning or context of the material; and
  • Do not suggest that CCAI endorses your work, conclusions, organization, product, or service.

Any rights granted under this section may be exercised only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

3Prohibited Uses

Except with CCAI's prior written permission, you may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, display, transmit, sell, license, sublicense, or commercially exploit all or a substantial portion of the Materials;
  • Incorporate the Materials into another glossary, taxonomy, database, dataset, standards framework, research product, commercial publication, software product, subscription service, or other work;
  • Present CCAI's research, methodology, findings, definitions, or conclusions as your own or omit, obscure, or misrepresent their source;
  • Modify, paraphrase, excerpt, combine, or present the Materials in a manner that is inaccurate, misleading, deceptive, or materially changes their meaning or context;
  • Use the Materials to create or promote purported standards, certifications, ratings, seals, benchmarks, or compliance programs without CCAI's written authorization;
  • Use the Materials in a manner that falsely suggests CCAI's participation, sponsorship, approval, endorsement, or affiliation;
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, download, extract, index, aggregate, or systematically collect Materials through automated or manual means, except through functionality expressly provided by CCAI;
  • Use bots, spiders, scripts, browser automation, data-mining tools, or similar technologies to access or collect Materials;
  • Use the Materials as training data, evaluation data, grounding data, retrieval content, prompts, reference material, or other input for an artificial intelligence or machine-learning model, system, application, or service;
  • Use the Materials to train, fine-tune, test, benchmark, validate, develop, enhance, or operate any generative AI, machine-learning, natural-language-processing, or automated decision-making system;
  • Create embeddings, vector representations, machine-readable datasets, model weights, synthetic data, derivative datasets, or other computational representations from the Materials;
  • Circumvent access controls, usage limits, technical protections, robot-exclusion protocols, or measures intended to prevent unauthorized access, copying, or extraction;
  • Interfere with the operation, integrity, or security of the Site;
  • Use the Site or Materials for unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory, or deceptive purposes; or
  • Encourage, assist, or enable another person or entity to engage in any prohibited activity.

These restrictions apply regardless of whether the proposed activity is commercial or noncommercial. Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict rights that cannot lawfully be restricted, including any applicable rights arising under fair use or similar legal doctrines.

4Permission for Additional Uses

Any use not expressly permitted by these Terms requires CCAI's prior written authorization. Requests should be submitted to info@creatorscoalitionai.com and should describe:

  • The specific Materials requested;
  • The proposed use and intended audience;
  • Whether the use is commercial or noncommercial;
  • The format and extent of reproduction or distribution; and
  • Any product, service, publication, model, dataset, or platform in which the Materials would appear.

CCAI may approve, deny, condition, limit, or revoke permission in its discretion. Permission for one use does not authorize any other use.

5Attribution

The Materials may be updated from time to time, but versions of the content are generally available and identifiable. Citations and the relevant date should be included in every citation so as to not misrepresent the Materials. Where use is permitted, attribution must be clear, reasonably prominent, and substantially in the following form:

Attribution does not authorize reproduction of the Materials beyond the scope permitted by these Terms. Any modification of the Materials must be clearly indicated. You may not remove or alter any copyright notice, attribution, source identifier, watermark, metadata, version information, or rights-management information accompanying the Materials.

6Research Integrity and Context

The Materials reflect CCAI's research, deliberative process, and conclusions as of the date or version identified. Definitions and conclusions may be updated as technologies, terminology, laws, and creative practices evolve.

You may not selectively quote, edit, combine, or present the Materials in a manner that:

  • Misstates CCAI's conclusions;
  • Conceals relevant qualifications or context;
  • Attributes conclusions to CCAI that CCAI did not reach;
  • Suggests that a superseded version remains current; or
  • Misrepresents the level of agreement, review, or ratification associated with a definition or conclusion.

If CCAI notifies you that your use is inaccurate, misleading, unauthorized, or out of date, you agree to promptly correct or discontinue that use.

7Monitoring and Enforcement

CCAI may monitor use of the Site and Materials to protect its rights, maintain Site security, understand how its resources are used, and identify potential violations of these Terms.

Subject to applicable law and CCAI's Privacy Policy, this monitoring may include collecting and reviewing information such as IP addresses, device and browser information, access times, referring pages, pages viewed, download activity, search activity, interaction data, account information, and patterns associated with automated or unusually intensive access.

CCAI may employ analytics services, security services, access logs, rate limits, digital identifiers, watermarks, or other technical measures to detect unauthorized copying, extraction, distribution, or automated use. Additional information about the collection, use, retention, and disclosure of personal information is provided in CCAI's Privacy Policy.

You may not conceal, falsify, or manipulate information for the purpose of evading these monitoring or enforcement measures.

8Suspension and Termination

CCAI may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Site or Materials if CCAI reasonably believes that a user:

  • Has violated these Terms;
  • Has infringed or threatened CCAI's rights or the rights of another party;
  • Has engaged in unauthorized automated access or extraction;
  • Presents a security, operational, legal, or reputational risk; or
  • Has used the Materials in an inaccurate, misleading, deceptive, or unauthorized manner.

Upon termination, the license granted under these Terms ends immediately. At CCAI's request, you must cease the unauthorized use and delete or destroy copies, datasets, files, embeddings, or other materials created or retained in violation of these Terms, except where retention is required by law.

9Reporting Unauthorized Use

If you become aware of unauthorized copying, scraping, republication, attribution, AI training, commercialization, or other misuse of the Materials, please notify CCAI at info@creatorscoalitionai.com.

CCAI reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and to pursue any contractual, statutory, equitable, or other remedies available to it.

10User Submissions

Where the Site permits you to submit survey responses, testimonials, or impact data, comments, proposed revisions, research, examples, or other material (“Submissions”), our handling is governed by the notice and consent presented at the point of collection and by our Privacy Policy. We publish such material only in de-identified or aggregate form unless you have separately consented to attribution. You may not attempt to re-identify individuals from any published dataset, or combine our published data with other sources for the purpose of re-identification.

By providing a Submission, you grant CCAI a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, display, analyze, combine, and incorporate the Submission into CCAI's work, publications, research, definitions, standards, and other materials.

You represent that you have the right to provide the Submission and grant this license and that CCAI's authorized use of it will not violate another party's rights or any confidentiality obligation.

Do not submit confidential, proprietary, privileged, or personally sensitive information unless CCAI has expressly agreed in writing to receive it under separate terms.

11No Professional Advice

The Materials are provided for informational and educational purposes. They do not constitute legal, technical, business, labor, policy, or other professional advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from qualified professionals.

Publication of a definition does not establish a legal conclusion, contractual interpretation, professional standard, or determination regarding whether a particular technology or practice is appropriate.

12Accuracy and Availability

CCAI seeks to provide thoughtful and accurate Materials but does not warrant that the Site or Materials are complete, error-free, current, or suitable for any particular purpose.

The Site and Materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” to the fullest extent permitted by law. CCAI may revise, correct, replace, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Site or Materials at any time.

13Third-Party Content and Links

The Site may refer or link to third-party materials, websites, products, or services. CCAI does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, privacy practices, security, or conduct. A reference or link does not necessarily constitute CCAI's endorsement.

Third-party materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective owners.

14Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CCAI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, relating to the Site and Materials, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, security, and uninterrupted availability.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

15Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CCAI and its officers, directors, employees, delegates, contributors, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, opportunities, goodwill, or reputation arising from or related to the Site, Materials, or these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCAI's aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Site, Materials, or these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

The limitations in this section apply regardless of the legal theory asserted and even if CCAI has been advised of the possibility of such damages. They do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

16Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CCAI and its officers, directors, employees, delegates, contributors, contractors, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or relating to:

  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your unauthorized use of the Site or Materials;
  • Your infringement or misappropriation of another party's rights; or
  • Content, products, services, datasets, systems, publications, or representations created or distributed through your use of the Materials.

17Changes to These Terms

CCAI may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Site with a revised effective date. Where required by law, CCAI will provide additional notice or obtain consent.

Continued use of the Site after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by law.

18Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to the Site, Materials, or these Terms must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles, California, and each party consents to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

19General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

CCAI's failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of its right to do so later. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without CCAI's written consent. CCAI may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, merger, transfer of assets, or similar transaction.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for a particular service or resource, constitute the entire agreement between you and CCAI concerning the Site and Materials.
